The University Electoral Committee will be conducting an awareness session on the upcoming Solomon Islands National University Student Association (SINUSA) Election in March. All students are encouraged to attend.

Awareness Program Schedule:
- We already had the first session at Kukum Campus today at 12 PM
- Panatina Campus: 19th February 2025, 12:00 PM
- Ranadi Campus: 21st February 2025, 12:00 PM
Key Election Dates:
- Nomination Period: 24th – 28th February 2025
- Campaign Period: 2nd – 14th March 2025
- Election Day: 17th March 2025
- Results Announcement: 18th March 2025
- Election Date: The SINUSA Election is scheduled for 17 March 2025.
- Awareness Week: This week has been designated for election awareness sessions. The Election Committee is conducting sessions to ensure students are well-informed about the election process.
- Nominations & Campaigns: Nominations will open next week, and the campaign period will follow immediately after.
- Election Background: The SINUSA Election is usually held annually at the end of September; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, it was not held last year. The committee is committed to complying with the SINUSA Constitution and proceeding with the election this year.
- Student Participation: Students are encouraged to attend the awareness sessions to learn about eligibility, the election process, and their rights to vote. There will also be opportunities for students to ask questions and engage with the Election Committee.
- Support: The Election Committee is seeking the support of the SINU community to ensure a smooth and successful election process.
