Overview


The Student Academic Services (SAS) reports to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) under the SINU management structure. SAS assist the University in the process of student Admission and Enrolment to Graduation.

The Student Academic Services provide support to students, Faculties, and Institutes. The core functions of the Student Academic Services are as follows:

Humphrey Marau

Registrar Student Academic Services (SAS)

Humphrey holds a Master of Laws and a Postgraduate Certificate in Diplomacy and International Relations from the University of the South Pacific. With over 15 years of experience in the field, he is a seasoned legal academic who has worked extensively across the Pacific region, including in Vanuatu, Fiji, and the Solomon Islands. Throughout his career, Humphrey has led numerous consultations and research projects in areas such as international law, human rights, regionalism, policies, and quality assurance. He joined the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) in 2023 as Chief Quality Assurance Officer and was appointed Registrar of SINU in 2024.
