Solomon Islands National University (SINU) was honoured to host Mr. Talonga Pita, Education Director of the Trans-Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, on Wednesday, 24th July 2024. The meeting, held in the KLT Boardroom, marked a significant occasion for fostering educational collaborations and promoting the diverse opportunities available at SINU.

The primary objective of this meeting was to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Pita and to engage in discussions about the educational programmes and initiatives offered at SINU. This visit underscored the importance of strengthening regional educational ties and enhancing the visibility of SINU as a leading institution in the Pacific region.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Transform Aqorau expressed his enthusiasm about the meeting, stating, “We were delighted to welcome Mr. Talonga Pita to Solomon Islands National University. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our commitment to providing high-quality education and to explore collaborative efforts that will benefit both our institutions. Strengthening our educational ties within the Pacific region is crucial for fostering mutual growth and development.”
