The unit covers a range of social science theories and perspectives that are relevant to understanding social and human dynamics that shape human societies. Specific emphasis will be placed on themes such as social change, resources, economic activities, gender, population and migration. Students doing this unit are provided with an opportunity to engage in critical thinking and analysis on different aspects of the contents taught.
