Unit Title: Introduction to Outdoor Game 1 & Athletics
This UNIT introduces student teachers to Teaching of Outdoor Games (1) The unit aims to equip student teachers with the knowledge, understanding and skills of various outdoor games, to allow them to deliver quality physical education in schools in the Solomon Islands. Student teachers will be empowered, engaged and encouraged to acquire necessary knowledge and skills in attending coaching courses in identified games. Teacher Trainees will also be encouraged to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired and plan and deliver lessons which, provide students with appropriate, safe, meaningful and are interesting learning opportunities.
