Unit Title: Introduction to Teaching Secondary School Physical Education
This unit offers elemental teaching method of physical education in secondary schools. The course aims to equip student teachers with the fundamental knowledge, understanding and skills, to allow student to deliver quality physical education, in a range of contexts. The unit encourages student to develop knowledge and skill to organize physical education class, and enable them to plan and deliver lessons that provide secondary school students with appropriate, safe, meaningful and interesting learning opportunities within physical education classes. Furthermore, student is able to learn about a strand FITNESS which is designated in syllabus.
