Unit Title: Maths Education 2
This unit offers to extend the basic knowledge and skills of numbers and place value of larger numbers and decimals, fractions, percentages, directed numbers, indices, ratios, rounding off, money, measurement, basic geometry, and Basic Statistics of teacher trainees at SINU. Consequently, this will enhance students learning of mathematics in the primary schools in the Solomon Islands. The topics covered will be aligned and taught in conjunction with the Solomon Islands Primary Mathematics curriculum to plan and teach lessons using the knowledge and skills acquired in this unit.
