Overview 


The Physics department aim to educate students in all specializations major programmes. The key learning
outcomes of our programme are as follows;

  1. Advance the state of knowledge in Physics and related sciences.

  2. Apply and adapt their knowledge in the practice of their profession.

  4. Contribute to the well-being of their community and the world at large.

    Students will have and be able to demonstrate:

  5. A foundation of knowledge in classical physics.

  6. A foundation of knowledge of modern and quantum physics.

  7. Modeling, mathematical and computing skills required to solve scientific and technological problems.

  8. Experimental skills required to solve scientific and technological problems.

  9. Ability to provide technical expertise on complex social issues.

  10.  Experience in independent learning.

  11. Skills in communicating technical knowledge.
