Unit Title: Data Communication
Data communication refers to the exchange of data between a source and a receiver via form of transmission media such as a wire cable. In this unit, students will perform the practical knowledge of data communication to clearly see and understand the communicating devices in the same network and geographical area, how computers and devices links and communicates. After completion of this unit, students should have firm confidence in understanding the components involves in data communication system, a protocol performs the data communication between end-to-end points and the fundamental characteristics and effectiveness of data communications.
