Unit Title: Extension Systems, Approaches & Training
The course introduces the student to agriculture extension system, approaches and training cover the following instructional areas. Basic concepts and principles of extension processes; concepts of extension systems, type of extension system of extension concept of teaching diamonds; the change process; creation of favorable condition f change; building external relations; basic principles of experimental including the general agricultural extension approach, commodity specialized approach, training and visit approach; agricultural extension participatory approach, project approach, farming system development approach, cost-sharing approach, project approach, farming system development approach, cost haring approach and educational institutions approach; and governmentβs role in agricultural and rural extension.
